There are many things you can do with HTML alone and even more with CSS and JS. When you browse a website and want to learn how a thing is built, use Page Source or Inspect function of your browser.

What's this all about?
HTML is the language that, at the end of the day, all web pages on the Internet use. Unlike C++ or Python, it's very forgiving. You can just type some plain ol' text in Notepad, save it as an file – and it's ready for publishing on the Web!
What should I bring?
Since we celebrate HTML itself, you can use anything to write: a notes app, pen and paper, or a typewriter even (we'll have one at the event) – but if you'd like to publish right away, going with a smartphone/laptop would be a good idea.
What are we going to make?
Last year, we had a meet in Rotary Park where everyone was free to write anything. You're still very much welcome to work on any project of your choice, but we'll also have a few things to get you started:
- A bunch of Prompt Cards with some ideas of what to write about;
- A Project Guide for a personal website with your bio and social links.
We'll also prepare an HTML/CSS cheat sheet, media assets library, and a webring to help you build your web pages and for others to discover them. Stay tuned!
